Lucy's Mum age: 32 "Lucy is the smallest of my three babies. I carry her in my heart & my promise to her is to promote the importance of folic acid before & during pregnancy"
Lucy's Dad age: 34 "Lucy was such a small little baby and when I held her she melted my heart 💛 So I’m completing this challenge in remembrance of my little girl and to help other families by raising money for the Charity Shine who support families that find themselves in this heartbreaking situation"
Lucy's Grandad age: 48 "As a dad I have great memories of climbing mount Snowdon with both my daughters Carrisse-Emma and Bryony. So I came up with the 5 star challenge to create new memories with our granddaughter little Lucy being at the centre & climbing with us. Along with that raising awareness of spina bifida and and Hydrocephalus and raise some funds to help support the charity shine who do great work with families who have been affected by this"
Lucy's uncle age: 30 "I was asked by Carrisse and Darren to be god parent quite early on for Lucy. I accepted without a doubt in my mind that I was up for this responsibility and very grateful. Lucy will always be in my heart and this 5 star challenge maybe tough but I Have a secret weapon called Lucy which will help me complete this" ⭐
Lucy's Aunty age: 22 "I can't wait to take part in such an amazing event! I am doing so to say thank you and to raise awareness and money for this charity who have been absolutely amazing to my sister, Darren and the kids. My darling Lucy who will be with me in my heart & mind helping me along the way"
Lucy's Uncle age: 21 "Lucy is my beautiful niece who i will think of everyday . She will always be with me in my thoughts and in my heart. I'm doing this climb to raise as much money I can to promote how important folic acid is during pregnancy"
Family member age: 21 "I am very excited to be part of this team, raising awareness for spina bifida and hydrocephalus. I have seen the amazing support this charity has provided and can’t wait to raise money so others can receive the same. Little Lucy may have been small but she was definitely strong and I hope remembering her will help me along the way"
Family friend age: 48 "My eldest daughter climbed Snowdon many years ago whilst working for the Prince of Wales youth club and we had many conversations about her experience which I felt id like to do. I now feel lucky enough to be doing it also supporting the great work that they achieve with working alongside families with support and help while also getting the awareness of spina bifida out there"
Family friend age: 26 "I am so humbled to have the chance to take part in such an amazing event to raise awareness for such and amazing charity, all in the name of Lucy. I can't wait to head to North Wales!"
Family friend age: 15 "When my Dad told me about why he's doing this challenge I decided that I needed to do it, not just for beautiful Lucy but also for other families who may not get the support they need. It's vital we give the families a hand and someone to lean on at such a heart breaking time. I truly believe that events like this challenge are the most amazing and humbling experience anyone could experience"
Lucy's Sister age: 5 "I can't wait to go to Wales with my family and complete my mini challenges with my brother for my baby sister Lucy. I love her"
Lucy's Brother age: 3 "I'm excited for my mini challenges with my big sister Poppy, we are doing it for our baby sister Lucy. I love my sisters they are my best friends"
